Jason, do you know if the new black Maxcats differ at all to the red/silver/black Maxcats (apart from the color?)
Looked like Gardner changed brand…during the Europeien champs, he wore a white nike, couldn´t see wich model.
They’re the same…Black look sexier and more business like! Kinda reminds me of looking at myself… :rolleyes:
Jason has struggled with finding a good spike for him as he’s changed sponsor. He started out wearing the G5’s and ended up wearing the white Monster Flys for the Euro Indoor Champs.
Yep…sponsor only. But who knows…they may release them to the public for the outdoor season…I’ll keep my eyes out. 
I noticed Pat Johnsons spikes as well, is this them?

Damn! Makes all other spikes look slow and heavy. Oh I wanna live in Japan!!! Cause this is as usual a limited model (a special off the SS model I think) that probably only will be sold Japan.
This place seems to have a real nice range of spikes. Not only the limited Mizuno but the orange Asics as well…(but only one size left)
Those “orange spikes” you are speaking are actually the Japan-exclusive spike called the Cyberstealth by Asics. Oh how I wish I lived in Japan.
I took a look at the spike alignment and BOY. I was blown away at the “weirdness” of the placing of the spikes.
Surely they will be available to US eventually?

the mizunos on this site are simply fantastic.forget about nike and adidas,mthe japanese have it sorted out
the unlikileness of those shoes being availabe in the US can be compared to a fat kid NOT eating a 5 pound chocolate bar that is given to him
In the process of trying out the Nike MonsterFlys…I’ll keep u posted to how they do! I still love my Mizuno Geosparks tho…sigh…
What Mizuno’s or other brands do u recomend for training as my old ones have got a bit worn?
I’ve got some Chrono dash but they’re a bit extreme for ordinary sessions.

Try the Tokyo if you like mizuno. Having said that I sometimes find training in a distance spike like the Asics Hyper LD quite good for ordinary sessions. If you prefer a sprint spike to train in try the Asics Hyper Sprint, I’m getting a pair once my tokyos are shot…

My insiders at Nike have informed me of the release of a Maxcat spike with the G5 plate. (the same as what Asafa wore in Athens). They should be marketed under the name of Zoom Ja.
I’ll definately have some of those. The lightness of the Maxcats with the plate of the G5 is a match made in Mondo. :rolleyes:
