The fit straps work well. I like them better than laces and can get as good or better fit with them. And they won’t become untied. You can see them on www.weplay.com/Mizuno/track/spikes/ You also can check www.eastbay.com – especially if interested in buying. They may have an older model of the same spike at reduced price.
The straps work perfectly, they have the best fit of any spikes I’ve ever put on, adjusts like a glove.
Where can I buy a pair of the Adidas “DeMOlisher II”?
what is the point of the 3 blunt spikes on the new tokyo…can u remove them at all, as i would rather have 3 more sharp spikes in there
They are non-removable … I assure you you’ll get more grip then you can ask for if you take care of the rest of the original spikes … they are sharp as needles. I just trust the Japanese have a good reason for those spikes, what I’ve noticed is it helps you stay higher on your toes with those non-removable spikes there.
is just that in australia some leagues are on grass and therefore we use long grass spike - 15mm - was just wondering how this would affect the non-removable ones…thoughts?? or wouldnt it make a difference…hopefully it will be a nice feel when i do run on tartan

Eastbay have just got in some new spikes:
- New color of Zoom Celar 2
- The white/red Nike Zoom Superfly G5’s
- Fancy blue Adidas DeMOlisher’s
Time for me to order some G5’s
I’m still dribbling…Mizuno spikes are the ones…No doubt about it…
Check em out…
i agree with jason 100%.mizuno are miles ahead of the rest.just look at the designs with no gimmicks like nike.
Very true X…No gimmics…Raw spike production. Kinda like the Ferrari F40 compared to the Enzo both are beautiful and fast but one is a raw machine the other has tiptronic, heated seats, traction control etc…
We should be PR reps for Mizuno!
I’m another one who’s gonna jump on the mizuno bandwagon! I have a pair of the old tokyo’s (the blue ones) for training in and a pair of the now unfortunately discontinued (as far as i’m aware) geo spark for racing in, and i’ve had no problems at all. In terms of their spike plate stability and flexibilty, I think they’ve got it spot on!
Where can you find those at(chrono05)? Those spikes look pretty sweet… I’ve never used any spike but Nike… Curious to see how mizuno feels…
Those particular spikes aren’t available anywhere except Japan. Fingers crossed they’ll get released in US/Europe soon! As for Mizuno being better than Nike…WITHOUT A DOUBT!!!
