Lowerbody lifts w/ minimal spinal loading

I quite like the look of that. I think I might just pick one up. have you ever used one yourself?

I tend to get a lot of back and neck soreness if I squat anything more than about 30kg…

Neck soreness? That sounds like it might be caused from improper placement of the bar.

I think it has more to do with this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scheuermann's_disease

I have long term damage to my vertebrae from this, and stress placed on one part of my spine throws the whole thing out of whack. the soreness I get in my neck is not from the bar resting directly on it, but from strain associated with the subluxation of the joints.

it sucks… :stuck_out_tongue:

Its $51.95 for this loading pin!

How much weight do yall usually use when doing hip belt squats?

what about the squatflex…

http://www.jumpusa.com/squat_flex.html

it is preety expensive though…

JUNK!!! Dont waste your money…

Damn - that does suck. I was just pointing out the simplest answer in case that was it.

The one my weight room has I built from plumbing parts found at a local Lowes store. You can build your own for under 20$ total and it will hold hundreds of pounds if you choose the right parts, just make sure the weakest link is stronger than any weight you will lift!

There are other places to buy one. Try www.newyorkbarbells.com or other places.

How about belt squats?
