I have been lurking on this site for a while and ive decided to make a training journal so i can track my progress and get advice. this year will be what i consider my second training year. i did track at my high school as a freshman and sophomore but only during one season and did no other track oriented training, so i only did about 2 months each year training on a tempo based program. This past year i started training more seriously and did some sort of training for about 9 months and took the summer off. I attempted to do a S-L in the fall and then did a tempo based program with my school the rest of the year. My outdoors track season ended about 5 weeks ago and i have rested an i am about to start a 10 week GPP which will resemble CF’s GPP. I am going into my senior year and high school and im a male. ive been very fortunate to have a what i would consider a great progression of times considering the times a started at. I just really enjoy training and racing so right now i dont have any solid goals for this year since i am just trying to be optimistic and run as fast as possible.
i saw it on elitetrack.com, its for power endurance. im using it instead of high rep sets of cleans during the hypertrophy phase, and my plan is to over the next few weeks decrease the reps and increase the intensity and rest before transitioning to max strength
