yes, 40yds is damn near my whole drive phase.
when u r doing starts how far r u going out 10 and 20yds r more like track guys out to 30?
when im doin starts i do 20 yds
just curioius why not 10yd? i know some coaches like to run 10 and 20 so they can hit marks and some coaches dont perfrom any 10 or 20 but pefer to do 30’s so they can run through the whole drive phase.
thats y i do 20. my drive phase is over at about 18-20yds.
when i run sprints all i run are
20 yd starts
40 yd form sprints
40 yd full sprints
i would add some 50 or 60yds so u can have speed reserve. i know some coaches only run 30 and 50.
for Charlie…I ran tempo today and changed my arm swing to how you suggested and it seems to have been the problem
for UTfootball i also changed my stance to have my front foot a footlength behind the line and i feel more comfortable with that also.
