thanks a million, i really appriciate it.
u can clearly c the dip in the track that he was talking about. it’s areal pitty cos he was ahead and hardly ever loses when he is in control of the lead especially in the 60m.
just imagine what time he could have run been infront of shawn who ran 5.56, maybe sub 6.5.
Undulating surface: no wonder he was praying before the race.
he was ahead was he?? yeah the dip is quite obvious. i guess that is a problem when you have temporary track surfaces in, such as the nia in birmingham also. sorry, i haven’t seen the video, but from what i just read he was running well and just stumbled then?? there was no problem stemming from the blocks?
he looks pretty damn good to me, maybe a little excess plantar flexion. what do u think?
she looks in good shape!!! is it just me or does she look leaner than before?? i know this thread is after some technical feedback really, but that was the first thing that struck me.
i know it’s not the talking point of the race, but what do people make of shawn crawford’s form there? i don’t really know what to say! doesn’t look balanced, stable or anything you would expect from an elite sprinter really. comments?
again, not a major talking point, but what about clarke’s technique? i like it, think he looks good! low shoulders, high hips, possibly a little tension in the face. thoughts?
when ever i look at shawn i always think of bullet bob hayes. raw, rough, ragged speed.
my friend once had the oppertunity 2 speak 2 him and asked him how do u sprint, he said i just run, i don’t worry about anything i just run.
ha, i can imagine him saying that you know! he is so raw. i just keep thinking back to him running in athens in a hat, 10.03 was it, easy??? i guess some people just have it!!
A LOT smaller…but she actually looks better now than when she was competing…Time will tell.
Form doesnt get much better!
Look how is arms are extended/almost straight at the low point. Should the elbow angle ideally be 90 degrees at this point?
there is nothing wrong with his arm swing.
yeah look at any elite sprinter apart from mj and the arms are nearly straight as the cross the body
That is how you want to run. There’s nothing to correct there at all.
if he could have run like this in all his major competitions who knows what might have been?? this was sydney year i’m guessing, and i know throughout that period of his career his technique was not consistently as perfect as that!!
kit kat, where did you get that picture of ato boldon?
Maris
KK has all the ato pics deep down he’s a closet fan
