Hello, I have a question. I moved from the Czech Republic to USA last fall. I prerpared for the 2009 season, but unexpectedly problem with my Achiles stopped my attempt to compete in us. Right now I am well and no poblem with preparation. So far I have been doing weight lifting and tempo work and one time per week standing long jump. Mo, We, Fr-lifts, Tu, Th, Sa- tempo.
However, its July and my next competition is about February. 7 month to go…
That’s the question: What should I do now? To continue with lifting and tempo til September and start regular preparation or start doing preparation now and repear cycle again? For instance: start 12week cycle (8/3-10/18) and repeat it in another 12 week cycle (10/19-1/10) ? Or do big 24week cycle?
What is good for me? I am 33 already…
