I find the sharp blood sugar fall even after a 7% soln intake too much to handle.
I do water.

BCAAs probably best during the heavy training and water during tempo?
Well I train first thing in the morning, - up to 2.5 hours in total
Running and then weights.
I used take in protein and glucose 45 mins pre exercise - but I found this upset my stomach.
I might try slower carbs sometime and see if that is different
If I take in sugar during either the running or strength training the post ingestion blood sugar fall can leave me bonked.
I take water only, and post - simple carbs and protein.
I guess you gotta find what works for you.
I will experiment with protein only during exercise soon and see if that prevents catabolism and helps protein synthesis as the training sessions are so long.
