Where to begin after injury

Hi there folks!

I’ve been going great guns with my GPP training but recently picked up a calf strain. Been carrying out light jogging and strength training and cycling to work but it will be another 2-3 weeks before i can resume sprint training. now here’s my dilemma which i would appreciate your collective wisdom on. My athletes will begin their 12 week SPP next week to take them through to the indoor season in Late feb/1st week march. When i’m able to resume training should I begin from whatever week they are currently on or should i begin from week 1 even though i may only be on week 8 or 9 when it comes to my main indoor comp early march.

Any input would be much appreciated.
