Wanna try a tough workout?

I ran a hill spring workout yesterday that nearly killed me. Today I feel pretty good (little bit of muscular fatique) but I feel great otherwise.

The hill:

150 meters long rising fairly steadily for the first 80 meters, flattening out slightly for about 20 meters and then rising more sharply for 50 meters.

Ran 2 sets x 4 reps x 150meters up the hill at 90% effort with walkback recovery between reps and 3 minutes between sets.

It was BRUTAL haha! Nearly threw up and fainted after the fourth rep. (Ran the fourth one the hardest)

5th rep was a little slower as I recovered but the 6, 7, 8 rep were powerful again. (Might have wanted to take a little more time between sets)

lactic acid buildup wasn’t too bad but you could really feel the power and speed end/reserve you need to finish this workout with high quality.

It was a great workout and something I’d recommend a sprinter in GPP to give a try :slight_smile: I went to do weights afterwards and could only manage to do 4 sets of clean. (was going to do snatch grip deads, push press, bent over rows etc)
