Solid performance by Michael LeBlanc under big pressure.

Trindon Holiday…that’s the little 5’5’’ dude who plays on the LSU football team right??

solid performance he got 4th, dix is the man.

yep, wr/rb/kr/pr.

i wanna see ralph mann analyze dix’s form in that race. is your head supposed to be 16" in front of your COM?

Mortac, I’m lost. Is this a topic from the past?

Ralph Mann is huge on biomechanical models. I think Dix (and Gatlin) pretty well break his models. We’ll have to wait to see if TMSSF got some high quality footage of Dix’s interesting postures. I guess if your hips are in the right place maybe it doesn’t matter what’s going on above

Interesting that you bring that up! Hopefully the broadcast on Saturday will rerun the race. Between the limited bandwidth and “technical difficulties”… Oh well, this will have to suffice:

Here we can clearly see… er… maybe not

It looked like holliday nearly ran out of his lane. Probably would have lost anyway, but he definitely lost a couple hundreths and tightened up a bit.

From reading some of LeBlanc’s blog entries, it seems as though his program has a lot of CFTS influences in it.

It was posted on the other NCAA’s thread.

he is canadian!

I had never seen Dix sprint previously. Yeah, his form is unconventional. Seems as though his torso does go straight vertical from his pelvis up and then he rounds forward from his chest up.

I’d love to hear Charlie comment on his technique.

How much of that form from what you can see would you regard as individual idiosynchrasy vs. technical errror?

Do you believe his outstanding times provide us with the answer to that question?

His last 50 was pretty fast! Anyone have splits yet?

Bumping up.
