I heard that Vertimax will help run faster and jump higher? Anybody have try it before?
Not tried it, but this is similar to the concept of using a speed transition phase in weight training, and of course there is much debate as to whether this has any significant cross over to sport. This does depends on the sport though, but for sprinting, many people, myself included, believe that it is simply better to use heavy weights to develop the contractile units and CNS, and then sprint; plyos generally accepted also.
However, Vertimax has a difference in that you can actually jump forward as well as vertical (difficult with weights), which may increase the cross over?
Looks like it would definately help increase the vertical jump though.
