For an unloading week could one just switch to exercises that are much less CNS and muscularly stressing(ie rather than squat movement and hip extension movement do walking lunges and step ups)?

Would this work as they unilateral and are waayy less stressing on both the nervous and muscular system?
3.Obviously since you cant really tone down oly lifts, pulls, or jump squats in this manner their volume would be decreased, but how about what I listed above for Max Strength exercises.
