better pray Briles get the job.

I heard they were interviewing him today. I don’t really know much about him to be honest. All I can do is make sure that I’m ready to impress the next coach, whomever it may be. What do you know about Briles?

good chance he will get the job, hes a very bright offensive coach, won many hs championship and doing good things at u of h. i think it would be a great hired bc many top coaches wouldnt want to come to baylor but i think briles is a rising star.

done deal baylor is now waiting for Briles to accept job. Tip: better do alot of speed work and make sure you are tip top shape.

Why is that? Are you talking about when we start off-season or in general? Do you think he will bring his own S&C?

just in general is very up tempo, i think he will bring his sc staff - at least i would.

What do you know about his staff? Also why do you recommend a lot of speed work?

i think players esp the wr position will have alot of success if they are fast and well condition dont have to be a huge guy, i think the 190 range would be great for his system. i think this could be a great move for you.

i hope he bring his head sc bc i think hes pretty good he came from texas am under the great mike clark who is now with seattle.

I’ve heard good things about Mike Clark and his approach. I don’t know how it works with bringing in a strength coach.

Went up to the facility to train today and was challenged to a race by my former high school teammate who sprinted at OU. We raced twice indoors and I won both. After some coaxing he got me to go outside and race a 40 on the track, initially I was hesitant to run out that far on a faster surface seeing as that I’ve been doing hypertrophy weights and I haven’t run past 30 yards in training yet. However, the competitive juices were flowing and I agreed. It turned out that my HS team was out there timing 40’s so we had an audience and about 3-4 watches on us. We lined up and I won easing up, although he wasn’t far back. The coaches got together and told me my time was 4.31 so I felt pretty good about that.

On another note, I have been doing a body part split the past two weeks (ala Poliquin) and I have had fantastic results thus far across the board. Go figure!
