Training to Enter the Next Level.

look like dallas got there outside pass rushing backer.

Ya, I mean I just hope they drafted him to play on the opposite side of Demarcus Ware at the 3-4 OLB. They already have enough depth at the 3-4 defensive end position. But I had never heard of Anthony Spencer until they drafted him, I was expecting them to get Charles Johnson from Georgia if they were to draft a DE. But then I kind of wanted Dallas to keep the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th round picks. I dont think that any team would draft Anthony Spencer until the 36th pick which would have been the pick they would have kept.

I think its a great pick, I saw him play vs the big red.

look like i was right. lol

lol, he was the next best dl on the board, and hes a 3-4 outside backer just like shaun phillips from the chargers. the wisconsin and penn state ol said spencer was the best pass rusher they played against including there bowl games - remember wisconsin played vs the razorbacks. why would they draft him to play de in the 3-4, that would be stupid considering the 3-4 def u need big dl.

Glad to hear that he was a 3-4 OLB. Now here is the order it should go. DB, NT, WR. Seriously why would they need a WR? They are already going to be throwint the ball to T.O., T.G. And they could stay with Crayton for one more year in the Slot. But I think with the Extra first round pick during the 08 draft they should go with some young receiver then. But I think they should stick with the receivers they have right now.

the reason why they could have went wr is:

1: they are a very solid team from top to bottom and address the secondary in free agent with hamlin.

2: there wr are getting old and need to develop a wr.

I just realized that Anthony Spencer has a 500lb Bench Press! He isn’t as fast as Demarcus Ware in the 40, but from the highlights ive seen it looks like he will play as fast. Im very satisfied with this pick.

lol, im sure jerry jones is happy now - he didnt want to upset you.

Monday:

Ran Routes during the period.

After School Upperbody Workout.

The Routes did not go good. Didn’t catch the ball that well, but I think that glove would help because the ball kept slipping from my hands and I had no grip.

I have a very bad conflict with the Receivers Coach. But If any of yall ever saw this guy, yall wouldnt think he is any coach yall would think that he is a girl’s p.e. coach. Ya, and He talks like a girl. He also favors his basketball players. Therfore, I may be the fastest receiver out there by a long shot, but still he doesnt like me…So its guranteed that all of my playing time will be toward defense

Tuesday:

Studied playbook

Wednesday:

Ran routes and after school lowerbody workout.

Did better today. I was only thrown to once when we ran routes all togeter, and I caught it at least. The QB’s dont seem to care for me because probably just because I dont ride on their jocks, same with the coaches. It was also very humid and hot out there today, I got overheated, and felt a little dehydrated.

Thursday:

All we did was get our official playbooks today. It has been pouring down rain over here for days now. I would be doing my plyometrics but Its just too wet. And the coaches have not let us lifted at all this week. I cant believe they put all this focus on football and ignore our strength levels. Ya, learing plays is one thing but it aint worth getting weaker.

Friday:

Nothing…Grrrrrr…

After school: I just threw the football up in the air to myself a lot because I had no body to throw to me.

I guess I might as well use this week as a rest week. It was too muddy to do any plyos, and I didnt have access to a weightroom grrrrrrrrrrr… I didnt lift on my own this week for one thing because they didnt tell me what this week was going to be like, and I didnt want to run into back to back heavy lifting days. But when Monday comes around, I will not give a damn about the schedule. My own weightroom at my house really isnt good for heavy lifting(Mainly because I have no spotter) but I’ll just use like 8 sets of 75% of my max on all the lifts. It has also gotten hotter and hotter here in TX. And for some reason Im getting overheated easier than everyone else and I still drink plenty of water.

Saturday:

Dynamic Warmup

Depth Jumps(12in):3x3, 2min
Sprints:4x10, 2min
Squat Jumps:3x6, 1min

Post workout Protein+Creatine, and Static Stretch

Didnt have to work today, so I got to workout at least once on my own this week. This workout did not have the best quality but I was just glad to workout. It was real muddy still so I didnt want to tear up the place with broad jumps.

Monday:

7on7

After school upperbody workout.

This is the first time I have ever caught the balls this well this practice. I only dropped one ball the whole entire practice. I even caught passes that were off target! I think its all a matter of reps and how many days a week you catch balls. The more balls thrown to me, the better I will catch the ball. And I also did not wear any gloves. Tomorrow our team is having its own 7on7 tournament and I dont think I will be able to get any plyos in. But I sure do hope that we can lift this week.

Good job bud. Repetition is key to get better at anything of course. The more you get comfortable with catching the ball, the easier it’s going to get for you. Make sure you stay confident, trust your hands!

“practise makes permanent”

Caught even more balls today, I agree with you smarrs practice makes permanent. We also had a 7on7 matchup today, and I caught a 5yd hitch pattern and turned it into a 20yd td! But I also dropped a wide open pass on the 2pt conversion. I think I will be playing a lot in the slot this year. But things are starting to change for me now, about 2months ago I was thinking that I will never play offense and only defense. And now on defense nobody wants me to play LB, and the other two starting lb’s dont like me(why, I dont know, i guess Im small). But now, I impressed the offensive coordinator, and he is starting to like what I can do now.

Same old stuff these last two days. But tomorrow I will for surely hit those weights! But I am still catching well, and waiting for my cutters gloves to come in. Probably wont need them anymore, but it wouldnt hurt to have an extra grip. This has got to be my biggest improvement this off-season along with my increase in speed.

you are too young for gloves.
