To Post or Not to Post...

I’ve put together a 40 week 400m training plan, in the form of an excel worksheet, for my daughter. It is detailed, listing both the length of runs and recovery periods, all on a daily basis. My question is whether it is appropriate to post a link to it on this forum for review and critique.

Everything I know about sprinting (however much or little) I’ve picked up on this forum over the last several months. The ideas and information were learned, correctly or incorrectly, from this forum. In particular, Charlie’s input, Charlies GPP download, and KitKat’s input on the famous Lactate thread, as well as the valued input of many other members.

I need critical examination of the plan, which I’m sure needs work, but I’m not sure if such detailed information, most or all which is derived from this forum, should be reposted in this form…in other words am I stepping on anyone’s toes by posting this?

I emailed KitKat and Rupert, but haven’t heard anything back. I’d like to get an approval before posting a link to the spreadsheet.

Anyone?

I sent you a PM. Reply asap.

Rupert

Rupert your avatars keep getting better and better!

Oh, and wouldn’t mind seeing the 400m plan either

Replied to Rupert. Apparently no objections, so I’ll convert my excel spreadsheet to a word doc and post it here.

I’ll be looking for comments concerning…

-amount of high intensity
-lack of tempo in some phases
-progressions of distances/times

Hope to have it ready in an hour or so.

Rupert PM’ed and said to go ahead and post the training plan I put together for my daughter. I’m going to start a new thread that will contain a link to the web page containing the information.

Good stuff, looking forward to reading that.

Rupert your Avaters just get better.
