These good drills?

I have come across 3 new drills (new for me), and would like to know the forum’s opinions.

  1. Walking constantly on ball/s of feet. Straight legs.

  2. Walking constantly dorsi-flexed. Straight legs.

  3. (If I remember correctly…), Running on the ball of foot,
    a lot of plantar-flexion and pressing the hips forward. (might have
    been a skip drill, but one without any dorsi-flex.

Are the above, good drills?

Good for what?

Are they good for developing sprinting speed?

I believe the two first you mention are strenghtening exercises for the lower-legs, typically used to prevent shin-splints.
