tempo tables

Does anyone know where to find tempo tables online for converting 150m handtimes to 200m and 30m flying to 100m ?

I know, they are not reliable…

Just some good old east german zeittabellen ?

Hi Philipp,

Try and get a hold of ‘Sprints and Relays’ by Jess Jarver. It’s been published a few times, but the 3rd edition, printed in 1990, has the kind of table you’re looking for.

The time trials, 30m flying and 150’s are hand-timed, and they are compared to competition FAT 60’s, 100’s and 200’s.

e.g

2.48 flying 30 is compared to a 10.09 100m
2.56 compares to a 10.25
2.64…10.41

14.87 150 compares to 20.17 200m
15.09…20.49
15.31…20.81

This is Jarver’s personally-devised table and it’s nearly 20 years old. There should be something more modern out there.

I checked out this '90 version of the book on Amazon.com and it’s currently unavailable.

These times are kinda fast…I ran 15.44 sec 150m handtimed on first footcontact, but there is no way I run 20.97 FAT and 2.69 sec 30 flying is just insane-----

I managed a 2.72 sec the same day, but the acceleration was speedy assisted.

Alos the top-end of the list is a little strange 2.48sec 30m flying… thats 0.83/0.82/0,83 with such splits youre going sub 9.80 not some grappy 10.09 !!

Those are handtimed flies, if I recall.

What are your 100/200 PBs?

10.64 / 21.53
