Should I go on with 3 tempo days even during competition phase?
Or cut back on 1-2 days, or maybe only cut back on volume?
Or should I go on as usuall…

Might want to consider you comp day like a speed/spec end day and treat tempo the day after accordingly.

Do you find that the tempo is wearing you down? If so, you are probably doing it too fast. Tempo is supposed to help your recovery, so there should be no problem with keeping the same volume throughout your competition phase…as a matter of fact, you could even argue that it is more important for recovery from the stress of meets.
