Strength training taper

This is a question for Charlie or anyone else knowledgeable in the subject.

Charlie in CFTS you go over the ten day taper, an idea you explain in Speed Trap through your discussions with the Eastern Bloc coaches. I understand how the sprint aspect of this taper is managed, but how is the weight training managed. Do weights follow the speed done at (relatively) 95%, similar to the speed?
