would you guys mind sharing some of the max strength blocks use with your athletes?
Can’t really give you a blanket block.
Early in the training year I’ll use a 4 week block with 4th week as recovery. Tend to use mulitple exercises for 2 - 3 sets x 3 - 6 reps. Later in the season I’ll go to 3 week blocks.
It really depends on the athlete.
I tend to use a maximum of 20 sets, and I increase weight each set for key exercises.

*Snatch 1 x 4 x 50, 55, 60
*Front Squat 1 x 4 x 70, 75, 80
*Bench Press 1 x 4 x 70, 75, 80
One Leg Squat 3 x 10
*Bent Row 1 x 4 x 65, 70, 75
One Leg SLD 3 x 12

In what way are they easy?
The weights are fictional (but assume around 85-88% of 1RM)
