I’d rather use hill work alone to gain the benefits of overloading rather than using steps … as regards using DB’s also - I can’t see why you would want to other than for the need perhaps to increase resistance - why not use a slightly greater incline?
There is a hill right near the steps I’m thinking of and it is very steep. However, there is nothing much steeper than steps as they are around a 30 degree gradiant. The hill is above 20 degree gradiant. I thought they would both add a lot of power, and over-all, perhaps more benefits than olympic lifts, especially if adding resistance.

sorry but im no expert in sprinting so i may be wrong, but wouldnt sprinting (high effort i assume) up stairs have the risk of falling over and hurting yourself? Also what about the impact of the concrete on your knees?
