on aug.5 i will be tested in the 40yar dash vertical and bench press this of course is the day i would like to peak. as for now i plan on going through my normal wokrouts with high intensity through the end of this week. i rest on wed,sat,sun. so next week i think i might go medium intensity mon,tues then easy thurs fri, and rest till tuesday. someone please help with my nexy two weeks of training thanks.
alot of footballers on this forum are stressing about peaking at the right time (especially since camp is so soon), me being one of them.
since there are so many factors that we need to be peaking for ie
explosiveness (bench,squat,40yard dash,pro agility) and conditioning balancing these things can very tricky and disasterous if we fall behind in any of the categories. im sure that this topic is of great intrest to alot of us…
