Why would you want to increase your standing longjump? Standing longjump is a tool to measure it isn’t a goal on it’s own. Factors that increase a standing longjump are. But if you want to increase standing longjumps I would advise you to do explosive squats and cleans. Also the best way to train the sprinting is sprinting. So the best way to train standing longjumps is doing them.

For me med ball throws work better than weights. But that might be individual, most others seem to believe in weights.
