signs of overreaching

is a drop in weight a sign of overeraching/overtraining? Last Friday i had a great workout, felt very fast on the track and hit PRs on my squat. I weighed 196. Now all this week i feel slow and not as strong in teh weightroom, time for a maintenance phase?
