Hey, i was wondering if anyone could help with suggesting some muscle recovery techniques between two meet days. I ran heats and finals of the 400m today (feelin the latic acid now), and tomorrow I have heats and finals of the 200m starting at 11:30. Any suggestions…?

First drink tons of water. Second thing is to do a hot-and-cold shower (3 x [3min hot, 1min cold]) If you have sore spots, you can put some heat rub on the area and wrap with plastic wrap overnight.
Make sure you’re up at least 5 hrs before the first comp of day 2. Do a few easy exercises upon rising before breakfast to get the metabolism going. Do another hot-and-cold after breakfast. Good luck!
