Friday: 20m, 30, 40, 40, 30, 20.
Saturday: 200m, 120m, 100m (5 min recovery).
Sunday: Relay Practice
Monday: 20m, 30, 40, 40, 30, 20
Tuesday: 8 x 30m
Wed: COMPETITION 100mrelay, 100m, 200m
Thurs: 80m x 2 (RESULT…INJURY) + weights after injury
Friday: Weights

Hopefully some of that was Tempo.

Looking at recovery time of Saturday session at best it is intensive tempo. So 4 days of speed based work which was preceded by intensive tempo. WOW.

Not my job!! Training camp for one of my athletes. It will take me 3 weeks to get him healthy and fast again.

Herb figured that. Not many of us on this site would do that. Would we!

People and Coaches wonder why I want control of my athletes training. The squad I help has a couple of athletes in a Under 13 state team, and hey currently train 2 days a week on track - state coach wants 4 and 2 off those are 3-4 hour sessions.

My reply was not over my dead body, coach reply if they don’t they represent the state. Now I’m negotiating with them, as I don’t want to be the one to get them cut from team.

Some people can’t help themselves.
