Question for Charlie re:move from GPP to SPP.

Charlie, since my team(I’m guessing that others here are also at or near this transitional point) is nearing the end of the GPP phase and since we are all eagerly awaiting both the SPP dvd and the new book, could you please provide some general guidelines to get us through this time? I know that many guidelines have actually been posted here in one form or another and I have done some pretty extensive searching myself about this very subject. Anything you could point out to make this transition both seemless and effective would be very much appreciated.
BTW, the hill work and all of the various MB work that we are doing this year seems to be making a positive impact on the athletes. We had the tempo in place last year and much of the mb core work, and the ex. mb work but nowhere near this volume nor the variety you show on the GPP dvd. Also, our speed volumes were probably too low. The entirety of the program is really taking shape this year thanks to having the GPP disc to construct the program from. It also, I believe, pays to have one warm-up with just slight variation on a day to day basis(buildups, etc.) since as you say it is reliable and predictable(a coach has a pretty good idea as to the preparation and readiness status of the athlete daily).

…and your new e-book on Periodizazion?

going up now.

We’re still filming for SPP and hope to be into editing shortly. The e-books will be released in stages as the material is too extensive to get out in a timely fashion otherwise. I’ll keep you posted
