Quantitative Regeneration Requirments for a World Class Sprinter

Hi Guys,

For those who have coached or work with world class sprinters…

I am trying to compile some general rules of thumb with respect to how much time/money you need to spend to get to top 8 in the world.

I was hoping for some input on:

Time per week/month spent on massage
Time per week/month spent on physio/chiro

Supplementation spend per week/month

Hours training week/month
Hours gym week/month
Hours regeneration week/month

Here’s my guesses:

Time per week/month spent on massage = 5-6 week
Time per week/month spent on physio/chiro = 1hr week

Supplementation spend per week/month = $25 week

Hours training week/month = 18-20 week
Hours gym week/month = 4-6 week
Hours regeneration week/month = 6-7week
