What are your top 2-3 favorite Strength Training program(for Intermediate athlete/powerlifter)?And…is different program for bench,Squat and Deadlift?

Although he mainly writes for advanced athletes, Charles Poliquin’s stuff is pretty good IMO. You can scale his workouts to suit you for example reduced volume. Some of his workouts are well thought out easy to follow and effective. His program design is also good in my opinion.
I have his book “Modern Trends In Strength Training 4th Edition” and it’s pretty damn good. I would recommend it…you can get it off his site. It has two chapters of principles and then exmaple workouts at the back which can immediately be followed. One thing that confuses me though is that his periodization model of undulating is not mention. So I’m not sure whether it’s good to go from one program to the next or have a higher volume, higher rep period in between each one (known as a “accumulation phase”). Does anyone know what the right approach is at all? He also says most peoples nervous system adapt after 6 workouts of the same kind. Has anyone found this right?
Of course he is only one author…there are loads out there…Charles Staley, Christian Thibaudeau etc etc.
