We all know that weights are a supplement to the program itself when it comes to sprinting.
but correct me if I am wrong but a strength training program for sprinters is to teach the CNS to function more efficiently as a general stimulation and not necessarily to increase strength (though training for a more efficent CNS will increase strength).
After reading David W’s thread on a change of philosophy, training the CNS in the weight room is not going to failure so would I be correct to say this means only going 3 reps for your 5rm, with full recovery (2-5 min) between sets?
