That’s pretty good man, impressive!
I think it’s just a matter of what your body adjusts to, and everyone is different so there’s not one definitive answer. On the other hand, however, many o-lifting programs focus around sets of 3, as do their lifters. From that it’s obvious that somewhere around 3 reps will be optimal, which is not suprising since 1-5 reps is the range for strength. So I’d be interested to see what results you would of had on the same type of program with sets of 3 at heavier weights.
