Periodizazion sprint

Dear frieds,

I have some questions regarding periodization set up for short sprints:

a) In first block , is good use fartlek runs and easy acceleration runs over 100m, at 3/4 speed; what are the parameters you’d use for fartlek?

b)How many days a week should be minimum for mid level sprinters?

c) In first block is better to have weights on different days, or to combine with running?Do I understand correctly that in B you may want to use weights before short speed?

Please could you be more specific, because it all depend on who are the athletes you are dealing with : age and training age. Answers won’t be the same for kids and adults with same level of performance.
