I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…best spikes known to man 
the norm is the contracted guys are issued with the top spikes before they retail so when athletes see asafa wearing X spike they must wait for the release and money doesn’t matter if an icon is wearing a spike that also you can own…
the elite guys are simply promotors for the brand…winning always sells!!!
And the award for most expensive shoes ever…

Looking at the price they are not new but are they an older or newer version of Tokyos than the Red and black ones? The straps looks different but the plate seems to be the same (although the materials may be different).
And when we’re at it, wich version is the red and black ones? I have them and are soooo satisfied with them. As I can recall they are only named Tokyo with no number. But isn’t the all red ones that are named Tokyo II an older version?
I Where satisfied with my Nike’s until I tried Mizuno :eek: and now I never going back… But the Mizuno’s are impossible to get here in Sweden. Presently I train in Tokyo and compete in Geo Spark 3 but they may not last the season so hunting for some new shoes…
I know these are over priced and they really don’t make you any faster but if you want to look pretty 
I found an American that lives in Japan and he told me that he can buy the spikes thru paypal and ship to the US for a 15% fee of what you buy. I found some nice mizuno (the WR-V) for 120 US…
Where to get Mizuno’s online? Seems like they’ve disappeared. Trying to buy a pair for a friend of mine (Argentine women’s 100m. recordholder). She needs new racing spikes badly.

i have a pair of mizuno tokyo’s (men 9.5 i believe) that cut the shit out of my heels if you need them.

Senri, You need to start reading through previous posts instead of posting random questions man…as a former mizuno athlete I have posted numerous things on the best types of Mizuno spikes.
Once again:
The best type for the 100 in my opinion are the Mizuno SS Chrono’s. These however are only available in Japan. Unless you have a Japanese contact they aren’t accessible. These spikes are comparable to the Nike Zoom JA’s (Powercats) - By this i mean they have a solid plate (G5) yet are light in package (Maxcat). Other accessable and good Mizuno spikes are the Chrono TT. They are very much like the G5’s by Nike. They have a rigid plate that keep you up on your toes. I have these also. They can be purchased from www.dickpondathletics.com (see close out spikes area on the site).

What are the effects of such heel cushioning in a sprinters shoe ?
I know you cant change the spikes on this… what the average lifespan of the stock spikes ? will it last a season ?
Some like them…I personally don’t. A gimic spike. I had them 2 seasons ago…wore them twice and placed them in my shed. They are too flat. the forefoot and heel are one complete sole. I’d recommend the G5’s over the Monster’s anyday.

I’m going to be extra helpful here and give you advice on the raisers (black crown like things that you’ll find in the box) - Try them out but not in a comp. First in training and see how you feel in them. The idea behind them is that they make you feel taller and they do just that.
