A Neider press is used mostly by martial artists and boxers. It’s like a military press, but instead of pressing it straight overhead, you press it forward and up (at around 45 degrees angle). The movement must be very fast and you must bring it back just as fast (kinda like double hand punch).
You can use either dumbbells or a barbell, in either case the weight should be very low and speed is the important aspect.
I personally never use this movement with any of my athletes. I find it to be inferior to push jerk, push press, ballistic bench, med ball throws and speed bench press.
