Be sure that the tension is set to zero when you reassemble it.
Now that you mentioned it, I’ve reassemble it with tension at zero. Hopefully it fixes the problem.

You’re welcome, the fact that you didn’t assemble it with zero tension the first time suggests to me that you’ll be good to go now.
I cannot speak highly enough about the utility of the Isorobic. Again, I purchased mine off of ebay for 10 or 11 dollars seven or eight years a go and it has performed flawlessly for me. Just these last 6-7 weeks Larry and I have traveled to New Jersey/New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Colorado, Minnesota, Washington, Great Britain, and California and I’ve had him perform speed work with it 2x/week throughout before we do route work.
I never check my bags on work trips, always carry on regardless if it’s overseas or not, and the portability of the Isorobic, belt, and rope is unmatched in the realm of mechanically resisted sprint training devices.
