my plan for spring break...plz read thanks

hey guys, ok ive decided since spring break is coming up, im gonna wake up every morning and on an empty stomach im gonna run for 30 min. since ive heard thats the best way to burn fat. also im considering doing dr squats zig zag diet plan while i am gonna run and do all this at spring break…heres the website for his plan

http://www.drsquat.com/index.cfm?action=viewarticle&articleID=58

heres the whole plan: wake up, run to the ymca on an empty stomach and bring a breakfast with me to eat right after i run. then play ball and workout and while im doing this follow dr squats diet plan…PLease if u can give me ur full knowledgable insights on this thank u

You realize when you wake up that you haven’t eaten in quite a long time. Not good for muscle.

so i shouldnt do it? cuz im gonna be takin a protein shake right after…plus its only like a 20-30 min jog…can anyone comfirm this or read me more into it

i wouldn’t do it
it’s called Break-Fast and it’s “supposed” to be the most important meal of the day…

good diet, good training, give it some time and the rest are history!

If you want to lose a little fat with morning cardio, that plan along with good nutrition is ok.

Just make sure you keep up the lifting (!) and your muscle & strength will be fine and can even continue to increase. (Overall, what Speedkills says is right but if you are making an effort to lose weight and still in your first few years of training, you’ll be ok).

And keep up the work on your game like you plan to as well.

hey tomorrow im gonna go run in the morning on the empty stomach for like 30 mins. then im gonna eat breakfast and then work on lower body, how long should i wait until i workout after my meal?

why are you running on an empty stomach? you dont really need to do that, it is actually counter productive because your in a catabolic state.

even this body builder at my gym said thats a good idea to lose fat but i have to eat right after and get all the nutrients and stuff back or something

haha well go ahead then if u feel like it will help u, i mean if the local bodybuilder says its good then fine, but remember he trains for asthetics, not performance

u think it really hurt me so far? i did it like 4 times. well the guy said it was ok, should i ask him again but this time ill ask about what if im training for performance?

Well, 3 to 4 times a week I run and do some sprinting and skipping work in the morning without eating a thing. The workout lasts about an hour from 5.50 to 6.50

The main reason for this is, i’m short on time and if I eat first I can’t train. (I’m not trying to lose fat or anything, I’m actually underweight)

I have a large breakfast after it then go to school.

If any of you were in my position what would ya do? (please remember I’m short on time)
