Sunday 100 semi and finals 200 finals.
What techniques would you guys use for recovery in between runs and days to stay optimal?

take ur time to cooldown

For post race diet get some carbs and protein?
Hydro you mean a hot tub with jets.
hot 60sec
cold 60sec
repeat 7 times
post race diet good ratio of carbs and protein, right after race and every hr for next 3-4 hrs.
Follow advice given above.
Also it would be wise to conserve as much energy in each run meaning make it sub maximal. Or run fast enough to qualify comfortable but not at the point where your at meet record pace or where ur so slow your the final qualifier out of the heats.
Though a good cool down + tons of stretching, several times on each muscle is critical and at the same time protein/carbs being taken in followed by a contrast shower and if needed, icing any sore part of your legs. Massage obviously is in there.

I don’t know if it’s been mentioned but I usually workout twice a day at least 3x a week and the best thing for this besides the nutrition and hydro part is NAPS. Get in as many of them as you can.
Get potassium in after each race, a banana or dried apricots. Drink a lot of Isotonic…
Last time I had a meet like this I took some Indian Tonic Water (contains quinine), I felt a bit of cramp and drank some - seemed to help.
