Yeah, heavy work considering he’s in the midst of his competitive season. Although if this is what he’s doing it means he hasn’t unloaded yet and will get faster in the coming months as volume is decreased and intensity increased.

you do all this training but when was your last meet? and when are you running next? seems like you have only ran in 1 or 2 meets this whole season.
