Going along with Charlie, I also would recommend The Producers by Mel Brooks. Mel won an Oscar for the screenplay. It was also one of Peter Sellers’ favorite movies. However, my favorite Mel Brooks movie is Young Frankenstein (“that’s pronounced Fronkensteen”).
i just recently saw bad boys 2 - really good… it has a little bit of everything . it will def make you laugh… and american wedding was pretty funny too…
Anyone seen The Ring? Saw it last night, am considering therapy…
Fave gangster films;
Casino. “I got ya head in a f****ing vice”
Goodfellas. “What do you mean, funny?”
Scarface. “Last time you’ll see a bad guy like me.”
The Krays. “Tell him we let you of lightly.”
Lock stock. “and I cant ave the asshole can I?” “No 'arry. U can’t.”
Martial Arts;
Enter the Dragon.
Others;
Rocky 1,2,3 & 4
Shawshank Redemption, pulp fiction, fight club.
Terminater ,
The original Incredible Hulk.
Oh yeh forgot about that one -
The famous sword scene from the Krays …
The matrix has me.
Sequel was disappointing…
I don’t know why you’re all wasting your time with many of these movies. Point Break is the best movie of all time. Many movie buffs say Citizen Kane is the greatest but I think they’re making a big mistake.
Marshall,
Problem is that you have to see the film before you know you are wasting your time…
Clear your mail Gf!!!

Bad Boys 2 is great, the part with the rats getting it on is supperb.
Cool Runnings… yesssss!
Requiem For A Dream.
requiem for a dream was good
so was trainspotting
I like heroin movies
I think you should make that your signature.
If it’s good enough for pete it’s good enough for me
i don’ think i heard anyone mentioning “Blade”.what about the begining of it in the slaughter house!! freaky or what…
Hehehehe, thanks Marshall!
I think Citizen kane has to be more appreciated from an artistic viewpoint - it was groundbreaking in so many ways particularly with camera angles - and tricks that don’t seem very obvious until you realise what was actually done and how often its been copied since -
With films u gotta go with ur gut tho
Ring freaked me too - I had to get up in the night to visit the lav the night after i saw it and the hairs on the back of my neck were standing up when I remembered the girl climbing outta the well - I was well spooked - first time since seeing the Exorcist in the 70’s - but like a true man I faced my fear - strode heroically to the living room in the dark and checked out the TV screen for a while :rolleyes: - b4 leggin it back to bed
My Sis has a well in her back garden - i wouldn’t be too keen on that since ring .
I can’t wait for ROTK
