I have been reading about jump rope programs to improve speed. I have a young team this year and want to develop speed. any ideas about this method and when during indoor season should this program be worked in 1st, 2nd or 3rd 4 week cycle?
I use it with my young athletes nearly every workout as a part of their warm-up. We usually do speed sets where the focus is fast reps (i.e. 10 sets of 30 jumps) or more endurance (300 total jumps).
