Increase Recovery Rates

…Choose an exercise that you need to improve the most, or that causes the most soreness. Let’s say it’s the bench press. The night before your regular bench press session, perform 50 reps (2 x 25) with a 25-30% 1RM load and a 5-minute rest period.

This will greatly decrease the amount of soreness that the exercise normally induces. Therefore, recovery will improve and you’ll be able to train that same exercise again 24-48 hours sooner!
