I am actually thankful for training partners. I picked up two quality partners this year who also implemented the CFTS and improved greatly. Although I am a good self-motivater and my own coach, they brought something extra to the table. 1. We were sometimes able to evaluate each others performance and discuss what was seen and what we perceived we did. 2. Comraderie 3. I am the guy who constantly broke age group world records in practice (speed trap timer) but ran consistantly like a dork in meets. I learned to run and focus on my lane by practicing with two people in other lanes. I still have my solo times, but its great to have quality partners.
