getting more sleep, more carbs, and more herbs and vitamins, more fruit and more Water.
Things are for sure getting better. Flu nearing on gone.
Thanks for all the advice guys, i rarely ever get sick, so i forget a lot. Perhaps once every couple of yrs or so?
Most times i can trace back what might have caused it. ANd this time, now that my head is clearing and thinking better, about 2 weeks ago i had a big cut on my heel from a shell on a boat ramp. Not long later, my immune system packs it in.
Personal experience. I went through a phase where I ate oatmeal almost every meal. I was sick ALL the time. Bad news… Do a search for “gluten” & “immune system”.
if ur sleeping 8 hours and still not feeling rested you are either not eating right or not sleeping right. what i mean by this is your not reaching the deep level of sleep that ur body needs to repair itself. u can enhance your sleep patterns by making sure your room is completly dark or sleep with a sleeping mask. the hormone responsible for sleep is light sensitive. make sure your room is cool as a warm room tends to disrupt deep sleep paterns. make sure the room is quiet or wear ear plugs also a white noise can greatly help you sleep deeply. if u sleep on you side sleep with a pillow between your knees, if you sleep on your back a pillow under your feet, if you sleep on your stomach stop, it creates and exagerated lumbar lordosis.
Great advice Colbert, however some people do need more sleep, some people especially people who are constantly active can need up to 10 hrs of sleep, depends on the person, and if you have any sleep debt as well.
i have noticed, when doing weights only for the 1.5 yrs previous to resuming sprinting again, i could easily get away with 8hrs. easy. Yes, the room is dark as a cave too.
since resuming sprinting and more specificlly the Spp, the need for sleep is increasing. I have now a better habit of 9+hrs over say the last wk, i feel tons better for it, aslo i can feel the vitamins working too. plenty of herbs, vit c, garlic and horseraddish and Vit b.
I almost am feeling 100% now.
gluten is not in most oats but there is a large spill over because most machines used to make oats are used to make other products which have gluten.
and gluten is in wheat products, and a whole lot of other stuff. E.g. most flavoured milks, pizza, even shampoo. But not in the quantities in which u would find it in bread…
I second Accupuncture and Chinese Medicine as a life stlye health enhancement system. Some people can’t wrap their minds around it, but I love it. It just makes sense.
