I need help again

I know i havn’t posted in forever. I love what you do to the forums charlie :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyways I need some help Im a freshmen at U of Memphis and i plan on walking on to the track team i talked to the coach and he say i would run the 400m ( he said i was build like one). I got to practice with them for 60 days. My problem is that i never builded a base. I have great top-speed and ok acceleration But i have no endurence :frowning:

Example we did 500-400-300@80percent with 15 mins of rest atfer the first 500 my body is fried (mostly my legs) but my lungs are fine.

Im 19 and my training age is 3 years. 100m pb 11.01 hand and 22.8 hand I dont have any endurance

I dont get the question. So you want to do additional endurance work aside from the work you are doing with the team?

I choose to wait until next season. So currently im running on my own. What should i do to build a “base”

Tons of circuit work, extensive tempo, and split runs for special endurance.
