How to get the most out of your blocks?

Hey, i just recently purchased a pair of starting blocks, and am trying to figure out the perfect settings to get all i can out of the blocks. I haven’t trained in them yet.

Anyone have any recommendations on how often i should do my sprints with blocks and how far apart and what angle to set the blocks at? I know im probably going to get an answer like “its all in whatever is best for you”, but surely there must be some standard guidelines that could help me out?

Thanks

hi there, usually the norm is while on “set” position the back leg has an angle of roughly 135’ and the front leg has an angle of 90’.adjust your blocks so that you achieve both these angles and when you get this stage you will not be far off.thats the best advice i can give you.

Awesome! Thanks!

I’ll try that out, im not sure if im better off with my feet closer together or not, but im def gonna give your advice a shot!
