H.I.T baby

yes, i need to keep hydrated in the mean time. So, how much beer is that again? 2008 O here i come, fully hydrated and plenty of recovery. Oh, and dont miss my once per yr session like MJ. He didnt miss one in 10yrs, so, one per yr should be easy enough to remember to do.

SeanJos,

I remember back when I graduated from my exercise science degree and got my first job, I was pretty confident about my knowledge and was pretty vocal about my views. Had all the scientific knowledge and had a read a whole lot on the net etc. I was so confident with my new clients and my super knowledge and I wanted to try everything on them, quickly I realised though that the Knowldge I had was not all that impressive as I had not a/ applied them to a broad population range and therefore had not been forced to adapt and manipulate it to differnt settings and b/ applied them on a long term basis to see their long term effects and not just some quick results.

I am all for trying out your knowledge base and trying to develop your training philosophy, but I have realised that there are some great resources with some extremely knowledgable people who have applied knowledge which is so much more important.

My simple suggestion would be to sit back and read and if need be pose a question or two that will help you understand what is going on better.

Those fantastic HIT results should be posted any day now!

Seanjos,
You should have learned from before that if you are going to start a discussion on HIT with claims of what your athletes have done on the program, you are opening a can of worms.
Why don’t you give a detailed outline of your program (exercises, sets, reps, days per week, progression, etc.) so that we can discuss that.
