i know most coaches recommend to wait at least 2 hrs after training to do ems treatments but i was reading today that if you do ems treatments + protein/carb drink within 15 after training it brings a lot of amino acids and glucose to the muscle, speeding up its reconstruction and supercompensation - any truth to this??
is that ems in the recovery mode, or strength mode?
i am guessing you are talking the recovery mode, help flush out toxins and bring in new nutrients, then yes, its a good idea i would imagine.
however, charlie recomends doing strength ems at the end of the day, i do it not long before bed.
