My goals are to make the U23 outdoor AAA champs (well already made that as i have the qualifying time from last year), make the indoor AAA for both 60 and 200, make the final in the south of england champs 100 and 200, then make the outdoor AAA champs for both 100 and 200.
I know if i can achieve these goals then the times will be on their way in the right direction. I’m not basing my goals on times this year on the basis that i’ll be trying to achieve them in every race, which in turn will make me try too hard and then i’ll never achieve my goals. I guess what works for one man doesn’t necessarily work for another…
My personal best over 55 meters is 6.52. I was only allowed to run in 4 meets during last years indoor season due to an issue with my coach. You can find my old post where I talk about it. Trust when I say that I could have run in the mid 6.4. I do not think high 6.2 is unreasonable.
