What’s funny is that his fastest kid runs 26 something for 200… the “6.2” guy that Korfist coaches… well he actually ran 6.6 (I am a tad faster than that… you could say).

The West guy is a bigot, a liar, and a scammer. He tries to use his religious facade to try and cover it up, but it gleans through. The hypocrisy is truly amazing when talking about “kool-aid” drinkers and people not willing to realize there are many valid approaches.

I don’t live far away from CK’s guys… I’d love for him to come to the big city and have his “6.2” guy race me and if he wins, I’ll buy them both dinner. We know that won’t happen though.

Davan, I don’t think his 6.2 guy is the same guy who ran the 6.6. The 6.6 guy is the fastest guy this year, while the 6.2 guy has already moved on to college.

Which 6.2 guy? Are there hidden athletes up at his high school? Is there another list of published results? Did that athlete just not run any meets last year? It’s not like the high school he coaches is in the middle of nowhere and never goes to meets or games.

It’s not like this stuff isn’t verifiable. If someone wants to go out and make such personal attacks again and again, then they should be able to back their stuff up. If you claim that everyone else sucks or relies on other things for results and then make up claims (like West has already proven), you better be ready to back it up.

Charlie has proven himself numerous times and the lame personal attacks from these guys are just that.

Wow. I am unsure about alot of what is being said. I have been injured and laid off of some of the work I was previously doing. I had a friend in Texas offer to help me with warm weather and facilities. I was able to get back to training again by laying off of a lot of Tempo and power lifting while I was out there. I will ease back into it this week little by little. I am just trying to stay positive right now and know that good things are to come. I am so appreciative of everyones advice and I hope to get back to the topic.
Prior to heading to Texas I have been doing workouts Mike Young/ HPC was emailing to me. I fell deeper into injury as you know Turf toe just doesn’t go away. Mike and I backed off for a while when I was in Texas. We corrected a lot of technical and form related things during this time with a lot of help by my friend in Texas. I am unsure what was said on other forums and honestly I don’t need to get caught up into who is taking credit for my bad races or my good races. I am not interested in who gets credit. I just want to be the best athlete I can be. That being said… did my starts look better?

Umm, West…I mean Avery06, I saw the video and I didn’t see any limping and I certainly saw no one-legged running if there is such a thing. As a matter of fact, I didn’t even see him pull up at all. BTW, you and Drob should get your story straight (he says he hurt his back and you and your doctor are concerned about his hip “pulling out of place” for some reason). Also, Avery06, how come you mysteriosly bring up how DRob can’t fire his glute (how would you know…maybe I don’t want an answer!!)? It’s never mentioned on CF.com but West talks about it on WGF. Hmmmm…

All you need to do is repeat your start from UK 6.64. That looked like it would turn into a very good 100m. It’s hard to tell from this UTEP video but it looks like you’re aiming for a killer 30m which may affect you later in the race where you should be (and ARE) faster than everyone else. Sprinting isn’t rocket science. Regarding training, if you’re on a roll, keep rollin’, don’t make a sharp turn. 6.64 + (.86*4)= 10.08

Now I know you definitely have not been following Coach Young’s workouts or you haven’t consulted him about new workouts after being injured. I used to train under him. If you’re injured, you don’t necessarily back off. He always used to say, “Nothing is never an option” and he would provide alternative workouts that everybody hated because they were harder, but didn’t hurt the injury.

Thankfully, there are sites where people can go and vent- other than here! It’s not our problem to worry about what’s said elsewhere.

I assume he has no comments anymore… Since you want to call out my athletes I see you ran a 23.68 last Saturday I have 9th graders who can run 23.68 any day.
